Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 April 2026
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use
benjaminsonfire.com, how we use it, and your rights over it. It applies to
all visitors and customers regardless of location.
1. Who we are
"We" are the operator of benjaminsonfire.com, a sole trader based in
Australia. For any privacy question, email
hello@benjaminsonfire.com.
2. What we collect
- Purchase information. When you buy a product, Stripe
processes your payment and shares your name, email, billing address (to
the extent you provide it), and purchase amount with us. We do
not receive or store your full card number.
- Subscription details. For the Live weekly update, we
also retain your email and subscription status (active / cancelled) so
we can deliver the updates.
- Email communications. If you email us, we keep the
email thread to answer and reference later.
- Site logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs basic
technical data — IP address, user agent, request path — for security and
debugging. We don't use this for profiling or resale.
3. What we don't collect
- We do not use third-party analytics, ad cookies, or tracking pixels.
- We do not create customer accounts or passwords. Your purchase is identified by a Stripe session ID, not a login.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party for marketing.
4. Why we have this information
- To process your purchase and deliver the files you paid for.
- To deliver the Live weekly update, if you subscribed.
- To issue refunds when applicable.
- To comply with legal and tax record-keeping obligations in Australia.
5. Third parties we rely on
- Stripe (payments processor) — handles payments and
subscription billing. Their privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare (hosting and edge) — serves the Site and
stores the PDFs. Their privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Resend (transactional email) — sends your purchase
confirmation and download links. Their privacy policy is at resend.com/legal/privacy.
Each of these vendors processes your information only as needed to provide
their service to us, and only on our behalf.
6. How long we keep data
Purchase records are kept for at least seven years to comply with
Australian tax and record-keeping obligations. Active subscribers are
retained until cancellation; cancelled subscribers may be retained in a
suppression list for 12 months to avoid accidental re-signup loops.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to certain uses of it;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner; in the EU/UK, your national data-protection authority).
To exercise any of these rights, email us. We will respond within 30 days.
8. International transfers
Because our vendors are global, your information may be processed on
servers outside your home country, including in the United States and the
European Union. Each vendor we use has data-transfer safeguards in place
(e.g. standard contractual clauses).
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at
the top will reflect the current version.
